I have participated in a workshop on experimental print at HEAD (Haute école d'art et de design) in Geneva in December 2022.
The workshop was led by Alice Guarneri and Damien Conrad. During 2 day workshop the task was to experiment with a basic jet ink printer by replacing and mixing colors in cartridges. Each participant chose 2-3 images. I chose to focus on images of Swiss mountains (the little house).
With mix of colors, superposition and different techniques to manipulate the printer I got the following final images:
It is impressive how with the use of the most common printer everyone has at home such images can be born. All that is needed are inks to inject cartridges, old cartridges, printer and basic office supplies. I am looking forward to developing these works further.
